The Playful White Kitten

The first two days of the new year flew by like two minutes... In my first post of the year, I’ve decided to write about a kitten — white, fluffy, named Semyon, or just Sema — and, of course, to include some pictures.

A few years ago, on a New Year’s Eve long past, we found ourselves visiting friends who live in a quiet village far from the city. To our pleasant surprise, their home was already shared with a little white kitten, marked by a thin gray stripe across his forehead and bright orange eyes.

At first, he was cautious. He hid in corners, peeked out from under furniture, and hesitated to come near. But the moment we started playing with him, his eyes lit up with curiosity. Soon he completely relaxed, forgot his fear, and became nothing more than an ordinary — yet utterly charming — playful white kitten.
