Assuming I wake up now in real time and see a one hundred dollars prettily sitting in my domestic bank account, that will trigger a lot of desires in me really. I’ll be tempted to buy a few things like clothing and even a new phone as well and by the time you know it the money must have been dissipated.
Now relate this to having a one hundred thousand Hive Power in my Hive wallet. Just like in real time, I will also be tempted to splash it to upgrade my status and account too. That sounds like building my own project, albeit within the Hive ecosystem. That amount of HP in itself will make me a WHALE in the ecosystem.
When I joined Hive, I started from a small account - a small HP. But some communities I joined then were running some contests that if you win then you'll be rewarded with some amount of Hive Power delegations. I won many times and got delegations which boosted my visibility and even voting power or strength. It was a big encouragement for me. That alone kept driving me to show up everyday and participate and engage too.
Most hive creators therefore, especially those who recently joined the ecosystem usually run into the problem of having less hive power, except if they will purchase Hive and power up their accounts. And they may not be open to take up that option at that stage really. So, my first point of call will be to look out for those small creators and delegate some of the Hive Power I already have. That way they will be able to have a smooth beginning of their Hive journey. That will definitely make them to be consistent especially in those early months.
Again, there are communities that interests me here on the Hive. I will also delegate my HP to them to help them in curating good contents so as to encourage many Hiveans to be engaging and creating contents.
I believe that by these, I would have contributed to the growth of our beautiful Hive ecosystem and also put to good use of the massive one hundred thousand HP I have.
