Claudia left her place of work very late that thursday night and as she was heading home, she saw some group of young men and women singing and following a caravan. She knew it must be a campaign sort of a thing. Her curiosity was raised and she drew closer and collected a leaflet from one of them. It was an advert of a music concert wherein some artists will feature. She glanced through it and saw that her two favourite artists will perform. She reasoned that this will be a good time to hangout with Greg her boyfriend.
The entrance fee was friendly too and there was a discount for those who paid in advance. Payment was to be done either in cash on the day of the event at the entrance gate or through a dedicated bank account number for those who preferred to pay in advance. Claudia took the last option and in a matter of minutes she reserved two seats, one for herself and the other for Greg. Thereafter, she sent a message to Greg about the music concert with a softcopy of the tickets.
Few minutes later, Greg called her to acknowledge the receipt of same and thanked her for swifty acting on time to book in advance. Both friends spoke for a while and Greg ended the call.
Before midnight, it was reported that the tickets for the event have been fully sold out. Most young people paid in advance because they know that payment on the day of the event will definitely be chaotic and most times one may end up not getting any tickets at last.
The next day being a weekend, Claudia closed from work and then went home to prepare for the event. Much later in the day, Greg came by and both friends drove down to the venue of the music fiesta.
This is my entry for the day's @daily.prompt: In Advance
