January was such a drag, don't you think? I hope everyone else's was bearable. Yes, and hi. It's been quite a while. I could be inactive but I won't miss HPUD!

January Recap
January felt like a whole month of explosions to me. It's not just about the beautiful sparklers and fireworks that light up the sky. It's moments of wanting to explode due to all sorts of emotions and my lack of understanding for them. I let them wash over me. It's annoying but necessary for my growth as an individual.
Work has been crazy good yet there have been times that I felt that I wasn't doing enough. Same applies to my standards as c/HivePH's Social Media team lead. Plans to reach out to entice a wider Web2 audience were laid and I've yet to find the time to squeeze them into my schedule. Blogging more has been in my mind but the ideas keep getting stuck in my mind - they don't even turn into drafts!
Personal life is another game to play and, oh boy, let me tell you: I keep getting myself into boss fights way too much! There are days, even weeks, of struggling to stay afloat. Even so, I let myself feel the exhaustion, shed a tear or two then get going. Thanks to friends and events that happened during January, I was able to make it through.
I have realized that I wasn't paying attention to self-care during the past few years and I should change that. Luckily, I have people, and long lists on my phone to constantly remind me of things I need to do for myself! Perhaps I could talk about my adventures in the coming days~
Account Growth
There's nothing much to report about my Hive account as I have been inactive for a month after all. But, I am happy about this little peak of 500 HP that I've reached! Now I can say that I'm aiming for 1500 HP by the end of 2023.
Another goal I've decided to work towards to is to find options on how to gain Hive, HBD, and tokens passively. This is NOT financial advice, but I am also holding some Hive tokens that I like. My Splinterlands cards are on Splex.gg for DEC income, I'm holding DCALPHA and DCBETA packs, and I managed to get my SIM holdings to a million fairly recently!
Powering up
There were no plans to create an HPUD post this month but I hate to break my HPUD posting streak! I powered up earlier today.
At first, I was content with having the smallest bee badge so I went ahead and powered it up. But then, it occurred to me that I had some extra cash to spare so I bought some Hive in the external market and added more!
Being stuck with last year's 500 HP goal was an eyesore so I powered up a total of 100 Hive. This will be my first time getting a large bee badge and I can't wait to see it on my Hivebuzz account!
January was a crazy start to my year. I'm curious how this year turns out for me but who knows what's out there? I'll make the tides turn to my favor.
