Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about new place that we are visit and try to eat, this place called Chun Lie Restaurant.
This place is selling Noodles and Chicken specialist restaurant.
I dont think this is restaurant i think it is prefer like Depot or Food Stall Outlet.
So, several times we are passing by this outlet and seen but never tried it once. But, this time we are really curious and want to try it. Especially my wife. So, we are just entering this outlet.
First of all its look neat. But, when we are see deeper this place is kinda dirty. The cleanliness of this outlet is kinda bad. The toilet especially, there are not trully cleaned. And that make the smells bad. And also the kitchen sink is visible to visitors and yeah the dishwasher is kinda need to work fast so the cleanliness is kinda questioned.
But, before that this place cashier is kinda cool. They provide menu in front of cashier so we can pick the menu there and order at the cashier and paid first. And this time since this time for dinner so we are eating rice or noodles. My son ordered noodles as usual. My wife and I ordered Chicken Hainan Rice. I kinda curious what the taste of the chicken on this outlet.
And we are sitting in the corner. This place is not too big, but inside kinda chill and cool not too hot. The Air Conditioner placement is really good. Not too cold and not to hot. Just fit in the vibes.
Then my son food came first, not long after that my wife order comes out too. Then my wife prepared my son dish first. Removed the side dish that my son dont like and adding some chicken in his bowl to adding some protein.
And my wife ordered Chicken Hainan complete dish. So, she got Boiled Chicken meat and Crispy Chicken Meat with Hainan Rice.
Meanwhile mine i ordered Crispy Chicken only without boiled chicken in it.
We both also got the soy sauce and chilli sauce.
And the last i ordered is Ice Green Bean Pouridge.
Okay for the taste me and my wife dish are similar. The taste is same. The sauce is also same too. The one that make a different is just the boiled chicken which is too expensive if just that. The different is around 0,5$. The taste itself is kinda too ordinary. Nothing special its like eating katsu chicken. The rice itself is likes Rice cooked with onion. Nothing special. The one that make super tasty is the chilli sauce and the soy sauce. The saltiness and the chilli is combined perfectly with the taste of the onion in Rice. Yep only that. It similar with my son dish which is i finished the last couple spoonfuls of his dish. The noodles is just ordinary. Nothing special in this dish at all.
My wife also said same comment as me and thats very rare since my wife usually always appreciate and said something nice about food. But this time the taste is just too ordinary also for her. So, ended we are agree that this outlet is not become our top 5 food stall.
