Going out last night came even as a surprise to me because it wasn't in my plan. I woke up to a stomach upset that was very worrying, which made me cancel the plans that would take me out.
However, things didn't go as planned when my cravings kicked in, lol. Since I have been stuck indoors with just little movement here and there, I decided to maybe go for it despite the tiredness in the gut.
But before that, I went out to get medication needed, and that was when I took the shot above. The pharmacy wasn't far from home, though at that moment of urgency, it felt like a hundred miles away.
Thankfully, at noon, I felt a bit better as I did my indoor activities. It wasn't easy because I felt slightly dizzy, and that was when the craving started.
Chocolates.
I contemplated a lot before finally deciding to go for a walk to get the chocolates at the supermarket. Unlike the pharmacy, the supermarket is very far from my home, and there's a hill I needed to pass to get there. Just the thought of that was somewhat scary, but my urge for chocolate was greater, so... onward I go!
One step after the other with the presence of fresh air, I started getting better, though I had to take a pause after 20 steps to take a long breath and watch the gutter ahead. Everywhere was almost mostly dark, thanks to the flood that happened a week ago. And the power holding company doesn't care yet to restore or work on whatever needs to be worked on.
Thank goodness for solar that has been saving lives. If not, I think we might just be living in an apocalyptic world.
The supermarket was closer to the bus stop, and unlike where I was coming from, everywhere was fully lit, which I guess whatever had happened, which didn't affect that area. The moment I stepped into the supermarket, my eyes found the chocolate aisle like it had been waiting for me, and I just went with picking different ones, my hands touched.
I spent close to 30 mins scanning for other notable things to buy before finally paying for them. The walk back home was easier than it was coming out. The weather was nicer, I was glad I went out, got the things I wanted and the walk really did help at the end of the day because I sure had a good night's sleep.

Still yours truly,

Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
