You'd thought I learned my lesson and would go out earlier today after yesterday's dramatic turn of events... let's say it was an unexpected rainfall since I didn't check the weather forecast. I mean, there's no need to point fingers, right? But I didn't!
Knowing I almost hit the 5k mark yesterday but had to come home early kinda sucks but that was what made today even better.
Looking at the clear evening sky, I left home for a walk, which did me really good. The air was crisp. The kind I'd expect after rainfall. I liked it, and it did help with my day as I listened to new added melodies to my playlist.
But before that, it rained this morning, which is unbelievable seeing how clear the sky was later on. I was supposed to do laundry but had to put it off until tomorrow. This made me spend most of my day in the kitchen cooking different varieties of meals to keep refrigerated. There's still more to add to the list, but for now, I did my best.
Now, speaking about best, I saw a new Kmovie titled, "Kpop Demon hunters," on my download page. The truth is that I have seen a few clips of it on YouTube, and the music just hit me at that moment, so I added it to my download list and ... I finally watched the animated movie and truly liked and fully embraced the songs played.
..and, Golden was one the songs that caught my attention, and I know why. It was raw and to me speaks about showing those scary scars, not backing down and moving on no matter where we come from.
The jam was lit as I carried on with today's walk. It almost felt like I was walking on clouds, and the hill that stood before me felt like just a normal thing.
It was a beautiful day, and I even got to take a rest to fully envelop myself in the songs with eyes closed and a deep smile on my face. Everything was refreshing. By the time I opened my eyes, darkness had already begun to watch, so I just headed back home. I wasn't sure I'd hit the 5k mark, but I did, and that made the walk more refreshing.
