The storm rolled in yesterday like it owned the place! Wind howling, clouds stacking up like a Marvel villain entrance, and every now and then, the sun poking through just to remind me it still existed. Basically, Mother Nature couldn’t decide if it wanted to throw hands or give me a hug.
And honestly? Perfect. Because waiting for “ideal conditions” is just procrastination with better branding. You don’t get fitter, sharper, or stronger because the sky is blue, you get there by showing up when it sucks.
So I walked. Twice. Almost 10km total, 10k steps locked in. While everyone else was probably debating whether to risk their hair in the wind (not really a problem I have), I was out there turning every gust into resistance training. Free gym membership courtesy of the storm.
Walking along the canal, ships grinding through, trees nearly horizontal, and then… bam! Golden sunlight reflecting off the water like some epic motivational poster moment. Except this wasn’t Instagram fluff. It was just me, the storm, and a stubborn refusal to stay inside.
So yeah, the weather was moody. But here’s the truth: consistency beats conditions every single time. Storm or shine, step out and move. Because discipline doesn’t check the forecast.
