There’s a unique charm to walking through a landscape that looks like it was imported straight from a Nordic noir thriller. Today’s only walk was squeezed in between a couple of adulting chores—aka doctors and work—but let’s be honest, the weather didn’t exactly scream “let’s go outside!” anyway.
It was the kind of day where “morning” light didn’t even show up until around 11am, and even then it felt like the sun hit snooze and sent in clouds as a placeholder. Grey, wet, cold. But also? Quiet. Peaceful. And, oddly enough, kind of beautiful in its muted way.
Nearly 8,000 steps and 6.5km logged. Not a personal best, not a scenic postcard moment—but sometimes just showing up for the walk is enough of a win. Extra points for braving the drizzle and turning gloom into miles!
