Today’s forecast said “pick a struggle.” I picked all of them.
Photo one, ground level puddle stretching into the distance like a moody runway. Sky the color of unfinished business.
Photo two, a yellow flower casually thriving like it didn’t just get pelted by hail five minutes earlier.
Photo three, open water under a steel gray sky, wind carving attitude into every ripple.
One walk. Shorter than usual. Still managed pouring rain, hail, snow, sideways wind, and a dramatic sun cameo right before I hit my front door. Timing so precise it felt personal.
But here’s the thing. The puddles make better reflections. The storm makes the colors louder. That crocus looks like it fought three seasons in ten minutes and still showed up glowing.
5K steps done. Camera slightly soaked. Fingers mildly numb.
Flower shots secured.
Mother Nature threw a full mood swing.
I brought a lens and a stubborn streak.
