My wife and I bought Jump Time memberships for our kids to be able to get energy out during the cold weather. Now that summer is on its way, we use it far less. That doesn't mean the kids don't have energy, but it does mean we can get out and do more around our house, the neighborhood and the park. The boys still love to jump, so we decided to look into getting them a trampoline.

We started looking on Facebook Marketplace for ones that were used and in decent shape. The prices weren't bad at around $120 for a 15-foot trampoline, but most were patched, worn and missing springs. For something brand new, we'd be looking at spending $400 or more.
As luck would have it, my mother-in-law happened to find a neighbor online who was giving away their trampoline. It didn't have a net, but it was in excellent condition. There were no patches, no tears, no missing springs or anything like that. My in-laws picked it up, packed it in their truck, brought it over and helped us set it up.
It didn't take long for the boys to go crazy bouncing all over it. Where it's currently located is between four different sprinklers, so it'll be especially fun to have them jump on it during a hot summer day with the sprinklers running. This looks to be the beginning of a very fun and eventful summer.
