We live our lives, but we need God also. Friends are good people to build ourselves, but a relationship with God is more profitable than anything outside or a relationship that is controlled by lust or emotional attachment.
There is a great necessity in our lives that we must build our lives. Prayer can be very helpful, but it can also be damaging. When we are pressured to meet up to our peer's expectation, then it is very bad.
We need to know how to manage this peer pressure. Who determines what we get from it? So there are some things or some bad behaviors that we have learned that do not go along with us at all. There are some behaviors that we learn and that do not align with what we learn.
Peer pressure sometimes can be put on us by parents, but it is not necessary. The most important thing is our relationship with God. Friends are good, but we need God more than anything else. We cannot just live our lives comparing ourselves to our peers. We are also limited in our ways.
We must follow the teaching of God, follow what is written, and believe in God.
