I have been unable to post for a while due to any number of reasons that I will not waste the time to dive into at this point in time. However Hive has always been my love as it was the very first Blockchain that I discovered before I knew anything about Crypto.
The future is always unknown until you can look back on it after it has already occurred. I have not been really paying attention to most things that have been going on on the Hive blockchain over the past year.
It appears that with BTC falling from its high and being stuck in a range just above $60k that most other Altcoins have pulled way back in both price and activity level.
I must admit that I have not been as active in the crypto space and more specifically Hive for a while now. I keep up small actions but my creation of content has fallen by the wayside.
This must also be occurring for a lot of others that used to be very active on Hive as well. Years ago, I used to post about the top tokens on Hive Engine and there were over 100 that had daily activity over $1.00 or more.
Now I pulled the data and found there are only 24 tokens with $1.00 or more 24hr volume. A lot of my favorites are no longer on this list.
Even the gaming tokens have fallen off in volume from what they were a few years ago.
The Future is Always Unknown but the future is also always in our hands to make with it what we will.
What can we do to support the Hive Blockchain and 2nd Layer tokens?

It's understandable that personal circumstances can keep us away from our passions for a while.
However, it's encouraging to see that you're still interested in Hive and the world of cryptocurrencies.
Although the market has experienced ups and downs, there are always opportunities to revitalize activity and interest in the platform.
Supporting initiatives that seek to increase the liquidity and use of second layer tokens can help revitalize their activity.
The key is collaboration and continued commitment to the community.
