Here we are on the hiking trail to the hut, the Plain of six glacier’s tea hut that is. Honestly, this is one of my favourite hikes in all the Canadian Rockies. The beauty along the trail is simply magnificent! Thankfully the sun decided to come out for us after all, just earlier there was a short hard little rain to deal with. Hiking up here gives you an incredible feeling of doing something that is truly out of the ordinary, hiking wise. Down below is the turquoise coloured Lake Louise, and up above is the Victoria glacier. What’s not to love about this experience? And after you make it to the top, you are rewarded with a tiny restaurant or as they call it, a “tea hut”. If I had to rate this hike, would likely give it a 9/10. Only reason it is not a 10/10, is because of the excess amount of hikers who had the same idea I had that day!
