As exciting as it is to get to your hiking destination, in this case Hourglass lake, it is the journey there that adds the spice and fun. Kind of like in Life. Plenty of interesting things to photograph along the way here. As you can tell, a fire must have torn through here at some point over the last while. It looks like it must have happened in the last couple of years or so. Probably as lightning strike was the culprit here. Nature. I did not have the pleasure to hike here before the fire hit. It would be fun to look online for the before photos of this area, if they exist. Thanks for stopping by, and have a pleasant evening.
