With the continuing super spring weather, we couldn't resist visiting the Chessington World of Adventures theme park. We had a great day!
But there was some bad luck, too. My main picture shows the water splash ride called Tiger Rock. As you can see, there is no water in the trough at all! We were about halfway through the waiting time of about 40 minutes, queuing when the ride broke down, leaving people stranded out on the course. We did get some compensation of a free super pass for the rest of the day to avoid the long queues.
The vampire ride is one of my favourite rides, but due to having young children with us and the very long queues, I didn't get to ride on it. Maybe next time?
The Gruffalo ride was fun. The children loved this too. There is so much more to see and do here, its difficult to get around in one day. All the more reason to come back again 😆
