On my way to the lical shops I took a detour through the park where their is plenty of activity with the wild bird population!
I admit that my picture is a little shaky, but there are no less than three young herons standing on their nest. I took this using my mobile phone on Zoom. The result is better than I expected, but it's never going to be ideal.
These birds are nearly ready to leave the nest and go their own way. It has been a pleasure watching them grow.
