The Memorial Gardens in Crawley looked tempting today as I passed by, so I took a little detour from my walk into town.
This is only a small open area of town, but it has so many gardens and hidden corners. It feels much bigger than it is.
You could quite easily walk across the park in one minute flat! If I hadn't stopped to take a few pictures, that's exactly what would have happened. I enjoyed the walk into town today, on another of those chilly early starts, sort of spring day. As I walked through at about lunchtime, the temperature had recovered, and it felt quite warm in the sunshine.
