We had a nice summer fair to attend today at our grandsons school. It went very well indeed. Good attendance, lots of food and refreshments but it was so hot even with the slight breeze! There were many of the usual stalls to choose from, including a fantastic tombola with a huge range of goods, including alcoholic drinks (only for adults, of course).
Wasps are now a menace which is of course typical for July but I think the dry weather conditions this spring and summer have contributed to that.
