In winter time here in the UK, when there is a high pressure bock over us like just now, we get lovely sunshine in the afternoon ☀️. There is a downside however, as this also means very cold temperatures ❄️. I had to drive 30 miles this morning in freezing fog! We left just after sunrise, but temperatures were showing -4. I was a little worried about ice on the roads, but it seemed ok.
The afternoon was gloriously sunny again. Looking at the weather forecasts for new years day, look very icy with the chance of snow showers, so I could be reporting some snowy views ☃️. I hope so!
