Crocuses: Actifit Report Card: February 4 2026

I found some crocuses at last! I hve seen others while in the car driving places but today I got my chance to actually take a photo of some nice small yellowish white ones.

These are quite small compared to others around the town. They have been planted at the base of a tree here in Worth Park. That is unusual for this park. I haven't seen any others here except maybe close to the ground keeper buildings.

It has been pleasant out today, with some sunshine as well, mild but slightly windy. A real change from our recent crop of the wet stuff. Maybe, just maybe a change is coming!

Most crocuses I see around are either bright yellow, pure white or purple. These ones are a delicate pale yellow and look very young relatively speaking.
A real sign of spring.
