Sweet blossoms everywhere! The smells are incredible too!
Some smells are recognisable straight away but occasionally, I smell something in the air that drifts across my path which I can't place at all. Looking around does not reveal the source. Some trees release a scent from the new shoots, so looking for flowers or blossoms is not always the source of the sweet scent.
The Nordic Balsam tree is a good example of tree scent from the shoots. Very nice indeed if you are downwind from it. A fresh musky smell. 👃🌱.
