Dear Hivers!
Finally, we ended a year and immediately we start another one. Time flies by... as always. But this time we can feel it even more, because we are already in 2026. Unbelievable, but true. So it's time for lovely wishes, hopes and new goals to accomplish. And also time for reflecting, changing things, habits and thoughts. It's simple time for it.

Thoughts About The New Year & Hive
Where to begin... a year-end summary? Here at Hive, it certainly hasn't been the best, right? I see and feel a lot of demotivation. On a personal level, with that change in the type of content I create, I've lost feedback, audience, likes, rewards, and everything else, but despite everything, I kept going, writing and sharing about other things; I remained present. Despite everything. But even so, I've noticed a growing disenchantment with the platform in general. For example, some of my friends disappeared, the creator of the photography contest I was participating in also decided to take a break, and the other contest I was writing for in the Italian community seems to have stalled for weeks now, with no resolution to the final question. Silence, fewer interactions, and less of everything.
I also need that time for myself, for life priorities. Because let's be honest, I know that in South America this helps people make a living, in some cases, but in Europe it's impossible, with the currency and the regulations, so I wasn't doing it for any kind of profit, just as a hobby. And many have been leaving. Could the consistently low price of Hive have played a part? Perhaps. But the general disenchantment is palpable and widely perceived. And my few remaining motivations are also fading, at least temporarily. We'll see. For now I feel I take the exit for a while to other issues in life...
So I think from now on, I'll be less active. I've automated my voting, I'll try to delegate a bit more to generate some passive income, and that's about it for now. For now. It's funny, this situation reminds me of that platform many of us knew, remember Noise? They gave us BCH for sharing a photo with some text, our own content, and we spent a lot of time writing comments for other friends, voting on other posts, and it was fun, really fun, I enjoyed a lot passing time there with many friends and sharing small pieces of our days and lives. And we also earned crypto during that good period, which gave us hope, but little by little it dwindled, it faded away, people left too, many of us ended up here on Hive, and then sadly Noise disappeared.
These are cycles, things that begin with enthusiasm and excitement, but as in life, everything changes. We must accept it and adapt to the changes and circumstances, and embrace the new cycle with faith and hope, which perhaps this time will arrive with this new year. Perhaps.
After all this, to the point, now let's see how this past last month has resulted for me. But I don't feel like using much of my time, nor do you feel like reading a lot of my statistics and numbers again, so this time I make it very short and simple. That's all.
But now, in this moment, let's think a second about the 2025 and my presence here on Hive, because we have already available the Hive Recap 2025 (here you can get yours) and despite all it has been a good year.
And 2026? Again, we will see.

Hive Power Up Day
Well I'd say that despite all I keep somehow my presence here, and now today, day 1st of the new month let's focus on the HPUD, it is therefore my 37th Power Up Day in total. In my case it is the 1st of 2026 obviously now in January, So let's go with this new Hive Power Up Day, hivers!💪
So here I have done as usual a new POWER UP of 100 HIVE maybe for the last time. Who knows... we'll see.
For now, as I've explained, I don't really feel like doing this, and besides, I don't think I'll have much more HIVE accumulated, maybe a little, but not much. So we'll do what we can, what we want, and above all, what we feel. And I hope you're all doing well and that 2026 is a truly wonderful year.
