Anticipation……is keeping me waiting!
It’s Friday, thank goodness! Both Lisa and I were still tired today from yesterday’s contact lens marathon! I could easily have crawled beneath my desk and taken a long nap! I even took a mostly caffeinated coffee to work! ☕️
It was a busy day-especially for me as I had patients come in with prescriptions from outside docs and wanting to purchase new glasses. Despite that along with an onslaught of patients finishing up exams with the doc, I managed to get today’s work plus done! I like it when the day ends that way! 😎👍
So back to the anticipation? Well…..tomorrow, we head out to Stony Ridge Farm to participate in their annual fall pumpkin and apple cider festival! The weather is looking to be mostly cloudy but that’s okay since they’re not calling for rain! I will be hunting for a pumpkin, some gourds, and a few apples! I purchased some pastry dough sheets today in anticipation of the apples so I could try to make @silversaver888’s apple roses. Regardless of how they might turn out, they will taste good, I’m sure!

Afterwards, we will go to Lynden for a stop at Starbucks and a coffee to round out the day. I will for sure take a ton of pictures to share!
