You know…….it’s funny how quickly you can become attached. Whether it’s a person, a thing, or in our case-a pet. Today was the end of our keeping Phoenix for our son Bill. We’ve always loved her and each time we keep her, it’s harder to let go.
She was excited to see Bill, but @silvertop remarked that although she was very happy to see Bill, her reaction to me is more intense. I find that somewhat fascinating as he’s her owner and he has brought her out of the basket case of the dog she was, to where she is now.
We spent some time with Bill today albeit outside as he’s pretty sick. He caught his wife’s bug and now has picked up something new to add to it. He really needs a break from being sick!🤒
Nonetheless, I was glad for the time as we don’t get to see as much of him, Agi nor baby Olivia as I’d like. Unfortunately they were not with him as Agi had to go back to work and Olivia has one week left in the ‘class’ she’s in at daycare before she graduates to the next level.

Afterwards, the front door area was too vacant; no doggie paraphernalia. The house too quiet-no doggie toenails clicking on the floor as she walked through the house.
We decided to go drown our sorrows at Starbucks and have lunch as well. Then, we set out for Lynden City Park.
It was not super busy as the fair is in town. We are headed there after my post-op with the dentist tomorrow. I’m sure the fair will provide lots of photo opps.
That’s gonna be it for today. Oh @silvertop-it’s time to take Phoenix out! Oh yeah-she’s not here now. 😔 Maybe we’ll get to see her again soon. 🐶
