As was the custom in all the families, the women tore their old dresses and by recycle the scraps they wove beautiful quilts with which to keep warm during the long winter nights, blankets that were proudly passed from mothers to daughters.
Yes o. recently I learnt that one can make pillows from old clothes and i am waiting for the right time to try it iut
Interesting!!! My mom even made sheets but not with old clothes but with the scraps of the suits she made....
She was a seamstress and made us outfits to be in the house, from the pieces of fabric she had left she would make squares of the same size. When she had enough, she sewed them and made multicolored blankets ... they were beautiful!!!!
