We all know how parties are always held in every part of Nigeria on Saturday and the reason is because people get married almost everyday and this occasion are mostly put on Saturday. The reason is because most of the invited guest are only free on the weekend but does that mean that when one doesnโt have a party to attend to on Saturday, they donโt have other things to do.

Hello readers, welcome to my blog and today Iโll be sharing with you my daily routine on things that I do on Saturdayโs and trust me, this happens in almost every household.
Saturday is the day used to plan for the next week, so even tho youโre at the party, you are making plans on what to do, and some of this plans, if they are not done on Saturday, they would be done on Sunday and one especially, if itโs not done on Saturday you can hardly do it on Sunday and I would be starting from that.
Saturdayโs are days to visit the market

Saturday is one of the most free day for anyone to decide what they want to do without any external intervention (Work) itโs a day to choose if you would go to that friend wedding or decide to sleep after doing most of the things you need to tick off the bucket list. Almost everyone go to the market on Saturday, the market is one of the busiest place to be on Saturday because almost everyone in the city are at the market.

If you donโt go to the market very early in the morning, that thing you want to buy would have been bought by someone else. So while some people are busy doing weddings, others are at the market buying wedding things too or buying things they would use for the week to come.
Washing Of Cloths/ Laundry

Trust me, even people that go to parties on Saturday mostly wash their clothes on Saturday. It either they wake up early to wash to or they wash it on Sunday. If you donโt wash cloth on Saturday, youโll definitely wash it on Sunday. Out of 100% Nigerian if you call anyone on Saturday and ask if they wash clothes on Saturday, 80% of them would tell you yes. I have a feeling the percentage might be higher also.
Sleeping
This is a very important routine for people working. If anyone leave their Saturday sleep for your party, trust me, itโs either youโre very important to the person or they came for the rice. Oh, you think I would go to a party of someone I donโt know without the guarantee of eating. Ok โdey playโ
After going to the market, washing your clothes, sleep is the next after eating a good Saturday meal.
I know some Nigerians will see this, now tell me what are some of the things you think Saturday are mostly for apart for parties. Letโs share our naija experience.

Maybe one day
I canโt even relate to anything because I donโt even attend parties(none of my friends want to get married)๐ and the other type of partying isnโt my vibe.
I go to the market only when it pleases me. I sleep only at night. Sleeping during the day happens when Iโm sick๐
Clothes? I wash them after 2-3weeks๐ญ

I also think the common breakfast on Saturdays is moi-moi๐
๐คฃ๐คฃ
Yeahh
Moimoi or akara
Itโs a Saturday thing and Sunday is rice after service
You have nailed it all buddy. But I'll add one... visiting the football viewing centres for EPL matches. That's another weekend activity we do most often here. Arsenal just banged in three today and are on top of the league (Gunners fans), we'll teach city football lessons tomorrow Man Utd fans), we'll win the league again as we have Ekitike, Salah and Isak (Liverpool fans) ... and the football banter continues.
๐คฃ๐คฃ
Yessss
I donโt miss Saturday sport especially when my team (Chelsea) is playing
I hope we donโt meet on the field so I donโt teach you a lesson like you would do to Man U soon
Hahahaha, Brentford humbled Chelsea today. Have a nice weekend buddy.
It was 2-2
There was nothing like humbling there
Yeah, you are right. But most has expected Chelsea to run riot only to be pegged back at 2-2 with few seconds to go. That's the humbling my brother, settling for a draw instead of an outright win... 1pt from a potential 3pts. Have a nice week ahead.
Thank you ๐
Most welcome Brother.
I can't stand Crowds so parties or market on crowded days are out for me but I am glad you enjoy them.

It's fascinating hearing about your and other Nigerians' Saturday itinerary, as mine is so completely different. I hope that you enjoyed your Saturday, my friend! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
๐คฃ๐คฃ
Tell me
What do you do on the weekend ๐๐
Haha...well, I live off-grid in an intentional community in the jungle, so the weekend is not a very different from the rest of the week for me. I have things that I need to get done every day, both on Hive, and in this jungle community. ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
Sound like youโll be a busy type ๐๐คญ
Oh indeedy, that is certainly true. I need 10 of me to do everything that I want and need...lol! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
This is a cool breakdown of my Saturday.
๐คฃ
I know right
We do a lot of house cleaning at home.
Then, I do my assignments.
Prepare for a new week and play a lot on Saturdays.
Yeah
Sanitation is for Saturday too
We do that here too
