Today, I was browsing X social media, and I saw a post that said

What will a poet say?

There were a lot of random statements that were made and people were asked to say the same word with poetry and I got engaged in it. I was thinking of writing a poem about desire but I wanted to make it interesting.

The Story
Yahuzah and I have been in love with Nhaji for a very long time, but Nhaji is only ready to open her heart to the one who would sweep her off her feet with words.

Yahuzah: You look so beautiful
Me: Even the morning sun has nothing on your beauty

Yahuzah: I Love You
Me: The heart in my chest means nothing to me without you

Yahuzah: I want you
Me: When my desires get hold of the steering wheels, it drives to you

Yahuzah: Please don't leave me. Don't break my heart
Me Turn not away from me like the morning dew when it sees the sun. Shatter not this heart that beats your name

Yahazu Ever since I met you; I have never seen a girl like you. I want to make you mine forever
Me The first time I laid my eyes on you, just like the sun lights up the earth, you light up my life, now my soul longs for you
