It's summer and the kids aren't in school, but I like them to learn things. When I was a little girl, I loved helping my grandfather in the garden in the summer or going fishing with him. So now I don't let my kids spend the day watching TV or playing video games.

They always do activities like going fishing with their dad or helping me in the garden. They read with their grandmother or sometimes go to their aunt's carpentry workshop. But I like them to do something more and I usually sign them up for a camp-type course.
This year I wanted them to learn how to work with glass, since I've had a close relationship with this art since I was a child.
But kids have their own ideas, and that's okay; we all have to have our own paths. One of them thought it was a good idea, but the other wanted to do a forging project. So I hope that when he grows up, he'll make me some good knives.
