As I wrote yesterday, today I am returning to the valley of the Dobra River and with seven pictures I will show you this beautiful little bridge that leads across the Dobra River to the other side, either towards or from the Old Castle in Novigrad na Dobra, which is not just a transition from one bank to the other — it is a small encounter with peace. While the water quietly murmurs below, and the greenery is reflected on its surface, the bridge stands as a silent witness to passing footsteps. Here, time slows down a bit, thoughts clear up, and the heart is reminded of how simple things actually are the most beautiful.
The bridge in Novigrad is located in Karlovac County, near the city of Karlovac, and this is the first time I've seen it in person. On this charming bridge over the Dobra River, which winds between the rocks, it is cold and clear, with beautiful colors, green and blue. This charming bridge connects not only the two banks, but also the forest, the village and memories. You stop here on the way, look downstream, take a deep breath and understand why you always return to this area, and I will return in the spring, that's one of the items on my list.
The Dobra River flows on, the bridge stands in anticipation of my return, and the romance of this region remains – simple, sincere, and ours.
