I captured these photos using my smartphone camera amidst the tranquil countryside. On a small road that cuts through the green expanse of rice fields, a child looks simple yet enthusiastically holding his kite. His face reflects the joy typical of childhood, where flying a kite under the vast sky is an irreplaceable joy.
I captured this moment not just as a portrait of a child at play, but also as a glimpse of a childhood filled with freedom, far from the hustle and bustle of technology. There's a sense of nostalgia for a time when happiness was so simple, with just a piece of paper and string, children could laugh freely and run down the village road.
After taking the photos, I did some light editing using Photoshop Express to adjust the lighting and enhance the colors to make the green rice fields appear fresher and the sky brighter. For me, editing is just a complement, while the essence of this photo lies in the life story it conveys.
Photography like this always reminds me that true beauty often comes from the small things we encounter every day. Even a simple smartphone camera can capture precious moments, as long as we are sensitive to the story behind each shot.
Hopefully this photo can serve as a reminder that childhood is always a beautiful memory, and true happiness is often found in the simplest places.
