I captured these photos on the Lhoksukon market street, while I was doing my morning shopping. The air was still fresh, and the market was starting to come alive with the activity of vendors and shoppers arriving. Moments like these are always interesting to capture because they offer a realistic, unscripted, and unstaged portrait of local life.
As I looked east, the morning sun was shyly peeking through the thick clouds hanging in the sky. Its golden light created beautiful silhouettes of rows of shophouses and residents busy with their activities. Several people were chatting near motorized rickshaws and motorcycles, perhaps preparing their wares or simply sharing stories before starting the day.
What I love about this moment is the sincerity of the atmosphere. There's no artificial lighting, no props, just natural light, simple architecture, and people going about their morning activities. The contrast between the dramatic sky and the quiet street gives this image a uniquely emotional touch.
📷 Photography, for me, isn't just about technique; it's also about capturing moments and the stories behind them. This photo is a small slice of morning life in Lhoksukon, yet it holds a great deal of warmth and passion.
