It is often said that "Health is wealth." No one wants to be unhealthy. While both health and wealth are top priorities for everyone, the level of effort people put into achieving them varies. Today’s discussion isn't about how to build wealth or how to become healthy, but rather a reflection on the nature of medical treatment. When we feel unwell or fall sick, we consult a doctor or a medical professional. They analyze our condition and prescribe medicine to fight the illness and restore our health. However, while these medicines appear to be our friends, they can also have a negative side. According to Newton’s Third Law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Similarly, when we take medicine, it has a positive effect on our body but can also cause adverse side effects. Furthermore, the prolonged use of any medication can cause the body to adapt to it. Illnesses can also evolve, and over time, the medicine may become ineffective for our bodies. I am not a medical professional or expert but what I know is that this phenomenon is known as antimicrobial resistance. This is a condition when bacteria or viruses change or evolve over time in such a way that the medicines used to cure the infection no longer works or become ineffective.

If you look around then I am sure you will find some examples around you. When my kid was one year old she was suffering form a fever and her condition was not good. The temperature was gone up like anything and the condition was continuous same without any improvement. At that time the doctor suggested some tests and body scans and finally conclude that the kid was suffering form a urinals infection and to clear the infection she has to undergoes a minor surgery or we can try to clear it with medicines also. We chooses the second option and started her medicine course which was for one and half months. The medicine doctor prescribed was antibiotics which we know may have side effects also but at that time we do not have may choice, and medicine was better option then a surgery. Fortunately after one and half months the test and scan was conducted again and every thing was normal. In India it's very common that the doctor prescribe a antibiotics to an adult and so can get such medicines very easily form the medical store. This is one of the fastest way to get rid of illness but in long terms its not good for health. Every living thing struggles for the existence of its own species. Bacteria and viruses follow this same principle; they fight and evolve to ensure the survival of their kind.

Is their any way to control it or this is the price we have to pay. Can we stop evolution completely, no we can not but what we can do certainly is that we can slow down the process of resistance. This is not the price we must pay but rather a challange that requires us to change how we use medicine. The first step should be responsible use of medicines. The antibiotics are effective on bacteria infection but not on viruses, so taking the antibiotics medicine for a infection by viruses is not a good option. Vaccination make the immunity system strong and person and social hygiene decrease the change of getting infections.
I do not thing we can avoid the medicine but in some cases they are not at all required but still we take it for example this is no medicine for cold and flue but still I have seen in my home itself that people start taking medicines in such cases also. Their may be more advance medicines or techniques in future which helps in improving the health without evolving the bacteria and viruses. At our personal level also we must avoid taking medicines to some extend.n

Exactly, drugs should not be taken always even vitamin c. A doctor told me I should stop taking vitamin c everyday because I always take it every day. Abused of drugs is dangerous to health.
