One must always be mindful of the perfume that an individual wears to a workplace. While it might be of nice smelling to you, you need to be aware of how others smell it if you wear it to a workplace. And worse if it is a really dense place where the proximity of each work desk is within 30-45cm apart.
I know of some colleagues whom love to wear perfume to work and sometimes it really gets into my nose because I do have a very sensitive nose. Any kind of unpleasant perfume that looms in the office really wrecks my productivity.
I shared this with a fellow colleague whom also wears perfume but something that still acceptable to me. She mentioned that her trick is to wear the perfume but in reduce dosage to get a sensing if that particular perfume is acceptable to her work peers before slowly increasing the dosage. And with that, she will be able to properly wear the perfume without causing irritation to others surrounding her.
It is really a good method and I think those who wear perfume should follow her example to be considerate to others.
