Greetings dear friends of Foodies Bee Hive, welcome to my blog. The recipe I share with you today is a delicious lasagna or pasticho with some different nuances, although the preparation process is basically the same, it sounds a bit contradictory, doesn't it, but it is not. This lasagna is not based on traditional pasta sheets, I have replaced it with potatoes, instead of ground beef I have added shredded chicken breast, the rest is the same, cheese, ham and béchamel cream. Instead of yellow cheese, I added mozzarella cheese, the bechamel sauce looks a little green, don't be scared, I didn't add onion because I didn't have any, so the chives or green onion did its thing.

Something happened to me with the potatoes that I didn't expect, I wanted that base to be sliced, but, I overcooked it and had to mash it, so it was a base, the important thing is that everything has a solution. This is a different way of eating pasticho, it was delicious and I hope you like my recipe. Important: This recipe was made in a 18 cm long, 13 cm wide and 4 cm deep bowl, it yields for three diners.

Ingredients

For the shredded chicken stew

- 375 grs of chicken fillet

- 2 cloves garlic

- 2 sweet peppers

- ½ green bell pepper

- 1 sprig of celery spain

- 1 sprig of garlic

- 1 sprig of chives

- Salt to taste

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 teaspoon cumin

- Extra virgin olive oil

For the pasticho base

- 4 large potatoes

For the béchamel cream

- 1 cup of liquid milk

- 1 sprig of chives

- 1 clove garlic

- 2 teaspoons of all-purpose wheat flour

- salt to taste

- Extra virgin olive oil

For the filling and final layer

- 5 slices of mozzarella cheese

- 5 slices of leg ham

- Parmesan cheese to taste

Preparation

1.-. Wash the potatoes and cook them until they are tender. Once ready, let them cool at room temperature.

2.-. Wash the chicken fillets and boil them with a teaspoon of salt. Once they are ready, we let them cool at room temperature and then we shred them.

3.-. We stew the chicken. Wash well our vegetables, the garlic, the chives, the celery Spain, the paprika and the sweet peppers, then cut them into very small pieces. We also peel the garlic and cut it into small pieces.

4.- Add the seasoning to the chicken and season with the spices (turmeric, cumin, paprika) and salt to taste, always remembering to adjust the salt level. Let it cook until the stew is ready. Set aside.

5.- Prepare the béchamel cream. Wash the chives, cut them into small pieces and place them in the blender. Then, add the rest of the ingredients, the liquid milk, the wheat flour, the peeled garlic and salt to taste. Blend until the ingredients are well integrated.

6.- Pour the mixture into a pot and cook it over medium low heat, add a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and stirring constantly, let it cook until it reaches a thick consistency. At that moment we turn off the fire and let it cool down to room temperature.

7.- Assemble the pasticho. We mash the potatoes we have cooked with the help of a potato masher. Then, we form the first layer of our pasticho, to which we immediately add the béchamel cream, then the cooked shredded chicken, the cheese and the ham. Repeat the same process of placing another layer of puree and other ingredients until the whole bowl is covered. In the last layer we put bechamel cream and sprinkle Parmesan cheese to taste.

8.- The last step is to gratin the pasticho in the microwave oven for 2 minutes. Now, yes, let's eat.

Saludos queridos amigos de Foodies Bee Hive, bienvenidos a mi blog. La receta que les comparto hoy se trata de una deliciosa lasaña o pasticho con algunos matices diferentes, aunque, el proceso de preparación es básicamente el mismo, suena algo contradictorio verdad?, pero no lo es. Esta lasaña no tiene como base la pasta tradicional en hojas, la he sustituido por papas, en lugar de carne molida le he agregado pechuga de pollo desmechada, el resto es igual, el queso, el jamón y la crema bechamel. En lugar de queso amarillo, le puse mozzarella, la salsa bechamel se ve algo verde, no se asusten, es que no le puse cebolla porque no tenía, así que el cebollín o cebolla de verdeo hizo lo suyo.

Me sucedió algo con las papas que no esperaba, quería que esa base estuviera en rodajas, pero, se me pasó la cocción y tuve que hacer puré, así fue base, lo importante es que todo tiene solución. Esta es una forma diferente de comer pasticho, quedó delicioso y espero que les guste mi receta. Importante: esta receta fue hecha en un recipiente de 18 cm de largo, 13 cm de ancho y 4 cm de profundidad, rinde para tres comensales.

Ingredientes

Para el guiso del pollo desmechado

- 375 grs de filet de pollo

- 2 dientes de ajo

- 2 ajíes dulces

- ½ pimentón verde

- 1 ramita de apio españa

- 1 ramita de ajo porro

- 1 ramita de cebollín

- Sal al gusto

- 1 cucharadita de paprika

- 1 cucharadita de comino

- Aceite de oliva extra virgen, un chorrito

Para la base del pasticho

- 4 papas grandes

Para la crema bechamel

- 1 taza de leche líquida

- 1 ramita de cebollín

- 1 diente de ajo

- 2 cucharaditas de harina de trigo todo uso

- sal al gusto

- Aceite de oliva

Para el relleno y última capa

- 5 lajas de queso mozarella

- 5 lajas de jamón de pierna

- Queso parmesano al gusto

Preparación

1.-. Lavamos las papas y las ponemos a cocinar hasta que se ablanden. Una vez listas las dejamos enfriar a temperatura ambiente.

2.-. Lavamos los filetes de pollos y los ponemos a sancochar con una cucharadita de sal. Una vez que estén listos, los dejamos a enfriar a temperatura ambiente para enseguida desmecharlos.

3.-. Guisamos el pollo. Lavamos bien nuestros vegetales, el ajo porro, el cebollín, el apio España, el pimentón y los ajíes dulces, luego los cortamos en trocitos muy pequeños. También pelamos los ajos y los cortamos en trocitos.

4.- Incorporamos los aliños al pollo mechado y condimentamos con las especies (cúrcuma, comino, paprika) y la sal al gusto, recordando siempre rectificar el punto de sal. Dejamos cocinar hasta que el guiso esté listo. Reservamos.

5.- Preparamos la crema bechamel. Lavamos el cebollín, lo cortamos en trocitos y los colocamos en la licuadora. Luego, agregamos el resto de los ingredientes, la leche líquida, la harina de trigo, el ajo ya pelado y la sal al gusto. Licuamos hasta que se hayan integrado bien los ingredientes.

6.- Vertemos la mezcla en una olla y la ponemos a cocinar a fuego medio bajo, le agregamos una cucharadita de aceite de oliva extra virgen y sin dejar de remover dejamos que se cocine hasta que alcance una consistencia espesa. En ese momento apagamos el fuego y dejamos enfriar a temperatura ambiente.

7.- Armamos el pasticho. Hacemos puré con las papas que hemos cocinado con la ayuda de un pisa papas. Luego, formamos la primera capa de nuestro pasticho, a la que enseguida le pondremos crema bechamel, luego el pollo desmechado guisado, el queso y el jamón. Repetimos el mismo proceso de colocar otra capa de puré y demás ingredientes hasta cubrir todo el recipiente. En la última capa ponemos crema bechamel y esparcimos queso parmesano al gusto.

8.- El último paso será gratinar el pasticho en el horno microondas por 2 minutos. Ahora si, a comer.
