Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we compete with other guilds. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
We kept our third place ranking as last week's. We only yielded thirty one losses against eighty nine wins, a high win-loss ratio. In comparison with the second placer, One Piece Guild, they have seven more wins than us but had nine more losses.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I had a great brawl and contributed six wins while giving up only two lost games. I'm tied in sixth to ninth place in our top guild performers.
Selected Games
Here I present some of the games that I won.
Game 1
Magic was not allowed in this game so I decided to use Life. The summoner adds armor to units in the team. I think this is a logical choice given that all attacks are physical. My opponent had the same idea and also used the Life element. We have almost the same line up but I used an archer in my team even though the modifier had Fire & Regret. My opponent has Spellmonger in his team to counter my melee units. Somehow I won inspite of going against the battle modifier.

Game 2
Game 2 was limited to twenty mana. My opponent and I both used the Earth element but with different units. I had Quora and Vicious Quilliun while my opponent had Palidon Rakk and Glimmermancer. My team was simply stronger because of Quora's healing and double attack.

Game 3
In game 3, my units were higher level compared to my opponent's. I also had legendary units in my team while my opponent's highest rarity was only an epic. My higher level and higher rarity units were a big advantage in this game.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two gladius packs and still a disappointing opening. There were no epic or legendary cards. As a consolation, there was one common card that I levelled up.
Conclusion
We earned 3,550 merits and 30 SPS from the brawl, a little lower compared to last week's rewards. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
