Greetings to you all in hive community. I am happy to be part of this fitness and health contest this week. Since the weekly contest resumed, I have tried hard to join but so much at hand was the challenge. I encourage all around me to participate and they have been doing so. Right now, I have an hour break and want to use the opportunity to have some fun on hive, yes, hive helps me to manage stress and engage with like mind. Do you consider your self fit/ Healthy?, are you or you are planning to be fit
Before I will answer yes or know to the above equation, let me explain what I know and understand about being Fit and healthy.

Fitness and healthy
When one have level of health that allow him or her to perform his daily task without undue fatigue , enjoy himself and handle physical challenges daily,he or she is fit. I also want to talk about other things included in fitness like emotional fitness when one doesn't allow everything that comes his way to weigh him down. When one iss able to move from his environment to another place. He can climb stair case, can bend, is flexible, can run, jump, walk, carry things, he is physically fit.

Again cardiovascular fit is important, if ones heart beat is normal and circulate blood very well, the person is also fit because he can engage in exercise which makes the bone stronger,the muscles stronger, wake up the organs. On the other hand, healthy is not just the absence of sickness but much more. The person will be found in mind. Someone who doesn't fall sick from month to month, who accept job without remembering he has to visit doctor 2 times in a week. Someone who can endure for a long time, for example, in 8 to 9 hours job, it is only someone who is fit and healthy will accept it knowing too well that it requires time and effort.

I'm I fit and healthy?
I am fit and healthy for now because I have stayed for more than 2 years without malaria drugs. I can bend, run and walk. I don't get tired easily because of body weakness. I am saying this now because, I still remember when I wouldn't have answered yes to this question. That time, fatigue was my second name, insomnia, anemic,pain all over. A time when I feel sick every second of my life but today, I am fit and healthy.

My plans in achieving fitness and healthy life

To remain fit and healthy is continuous process. It is a journey. It is a life style. I have my routine of exercise which helps me to keep it and strong now than before. I drink a lot of water now and will continue to have my 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. I have learned to manage stress and will continue to manage stress. Let me share with us beginners exercise I have been using to keep fit for years now. In fact everyone that is close to me knows that I love it so much . Here is the link

I know that one can not be 100% fit or health now but one can intentionally walk away from unhealthy habit and choose healthy life. You know, we have actift on Hive, the goal is to keep hivers healthy and fit. I love it and I have been doing so before I joined Hive and I will continue to encourage my clients, my friends to make it a habit to be fit and healthy.
