May has been month full of activities for all hivers in Uyo. It was also a month that we had a lot new person's who joined hive. Mentorship, training and workshop was on throughout the month. We had hive/spendhbd workshop for all the Sundays of the and one in future model school.
It was also on May, we had our first Uyo hive/spendhbd meetup which brought a lot of joy to all who were in attendance. I want also tell you that, month of May had good numbers of listed businesses who sold with hbd. Among those shops were👇

In all, they have a total of over 500 HBD spent on shopping. Judel supermarket has the highest number of over 350 HBD spent. It was an amazing experience for us. I visited over 10 businesses I listed last month. It wasn't an easy task but I have to do it to be sure they are still on the right track of the project. I am happy to see that Uyo is among the success story of spendhbd in Nigeria just like the chat below showed.👇
The increase is really encouraging. In Uyo, one of the business that is toping others in sales with HBD is Judel supermarket. I started to find out why, I noticed that, first, he is telling people about spendhbd, he love the project not just accepting HBD. Wether he knows you or not and you said,you are paying with HBD, he is willing to help you make your shopping with HBD. Now , he has stocked the supermarket with more goods that, no space on some of the walk way so whatever you need now from salt to rice, you will buy from Judel supermarket.
I am working hard to have more hivers shop with HBD so that they in turn will assist others.
Each time we shop in Judel supermarket, we are do excited because of the environment and the sparkling light that makes night day.
Uyo hivers and the team
The more we go outing prospecting, running workshop, it has helped us to grow and we will keep on increasing until we can't count it again but for now, here we are.

Spendhbd/Hive Plans for June 2025
This June will not be different in workshop, I want us to have a complete workshop for all the weeks just like last month . This month has something bigger bigger because, with God's help, Hive/Spendhbd will be activated in the City of Akure this month. Details about it will be announced soon. Outdoor workshop is also in a pipe line this month. We have a lot to do in promoting Hive and spendhbd. It takes time and money but I want to say it worth it. Any organization needs people to grow. Hive community need more people to remain at the top.
Lastly, Hive is leading and it will continue to lead
