It was a long time ago I didn't post anything.
You know I am through a difficult time here in Belgium with that right wing government destroying all of our social security nets we made +50 years to build...
Anyways, I still try to put a bit of money aside. Especially the money from my work insurance (they destroyed my back, remember?)...
And as my existing gold investment made a X2 in only 3 years, we, my wife and I, decided to buy some more.
So We took a 1/2 OZ and 1/4 oz kangaroos, the new ones with King Charles 3 on them ...

And here are mine (Low quality image, sorry):
The 1/2 Oz is on the left side. 50 Dollars is the face value, but I had it for 2K€. The mintind year is 2025
And the 1/4 Oz one shows 25 Dollars, and is worth around 1K€, The Kangaroo is different as it has been minted in 2024.
I think it's the plastic cap that makes so difficult to make a perfect picture, but I really don't want to open them ... 😃
I brought them both to the vault with their shiny friends ... Let's see if they continue to build up in value. But with the sad news we have here in Europe, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't .

A total of 3/4 Troy oz. of gold, and that is worth a lot of buying power locked into two coins. Congratulations @independance, it would now take a huge financial feat to accomplish this.
I often remove the plastic cap off to take a photo when I can.
