Algo que no puedes dejar de conocer si visitas este ¨ barrio¨:  es la casa ¨Mecca¨: una joya de la arquitectura, y una de las pocas construcciones de época que mantiene su estilo de construcción; construida por manos italiana en el año 1805, en su interior se puede ver claramente el ¨estilo¨¨colonial¨, galerías con techos de tejas y grandes patios. En la actualidad estos espacios son utilizados para diferentes eventos que se lleva a cabo en el ¨museo¨: que funciona en la propiedad desde el año 1981

En este lugar podemos apreciar bellos trabajos de artesanía creado por manos de artesanos de nuestra ciudad y otros tantos profesionales que vienen de otras provincias del país. Las diferentes artesanías expuestas están distribuidas en los diferentes salones de la vieja casona; uno de los que visitamos es el salón ¨Mártir¨-¨Quiroz¨

I had mentioned before that we are a family that loves spending time together, we love family outings, we like visiting the beautiful corners of our city, and a wonderful place to visit with my loved ones is this beautiful ¨´museo¨: . In this place we can appreciate beautiful handcrafted works created by the hands of artisans from our city and many other professionals who come from other provinces of the country. The different crafts on display are distributed throughout the different rooms of the old mansion; One of the rooms we visited is the "Martyr"-"Quiroz" room.

En este salón básicamente se puede apreciar artesanías construidas en cuero, una habilidad muy común en los artesanos Correntinos; los artículos que se fabrican en cueros son variados y para diferentes tipos de usos. El hombre del campo ha utilizado toda su vida el cuero para construir muchos de sus materiales de uso, entre ellos la ¨silla¨ de ¨montar¨ y las ¨riendas¨ para sus caballos, Otra sala que hemos visitado es el salón ¨Ramon¨-¨Vidal¨-¨Rodríguez¨ donde se exponen diferentes tipos de artesanías muy bellas

In this room, you can mainly appreciate leather crafts, a very common skill among artisans from Corrientes; the leather items made are varied and for different types of uses. The countryman has used leather throughout his life to make many of his everyday items, including saddles and reins for his horses. Another room we visited is the Ramón-Vidal-Rodríguez room, where different types of beautiful handicrafts are displayed.

El ¨museo¨:  tiene una ubicación privilegiada, está en pleno corazón de la ciudad, se puede llegar en ¨autobús¨ de línea, o cualquier otro medio de transporte; por el lugar en que se encuentra a una cuadra de la costanera, muchas personas llegan al ¨museo¨:  caminando, dado que está dentro del ¨casco¨¨histórico¨ de la ciudad. Este es otro hermoso lugar para visitar, sobre todo si eres un apasionado de las cosas creadas por manos artesanas

Because it's just one block from the riverfront, many people walk to the "museum":, since it's within the city's historic center.
