Have you heard of crosswalks? (My entry for the "monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

in Black And White13 days ago

Hello to everyone who visits this great "BlackAndWhitety Community": once again I'm joining this excellent #monomad challenge. Today I've prepared some "street" shots to share with photography enthusiasts.

I think everyone already knows that I love walks ¨fotograficas¨:  what you may not know is when this love for them began, and for that we have to go back to my childhood. I was lucky to have a father who traveled to many parts of the world, and upon returning from his trips, he would bring me back some of the novelties he had found in the country he had visited.

On one of those trips, my father brought back a camera as a gift. It wasn't a professional camera or anything like that; it was a camera that stood out for its simplicity, so simple that even an eight-year-old could take pictures with it. That's how my photowalks began ¨fotografico¨: and I photographed everything that crossed my path.

Part of those attractions were the "Crossroads" : ; I'm sure everyone knows them, and for those who don't, they are those white lines at the corners where you have to stop before "crossing" : the streets.

I never understood why I liked so much taking our ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ : and stopping at every corner to photograph them. After doing some research, I discovered that many people who take pictures of them in the streets photograph them, and that they have a very interesting"history":. They're really great to photograph and share in this great"contest":.If you've never photographed these interesting lines, I recommend you do so; you'll love it. If you're curious, check out the website to see how important photographs of these lines are; the result will surprise you.

Obsession over crosswalks? Why not. I always get the picture of "The Beatles" album. Iconic for sure.

Good morning, dear friend @wnfdiary.
