La búsqueda de hongos en la reserva cada semana que pasa se pone mejor; esta semana dimos con tres especies excepcionales. Una de ellas es este delicado ¨ejemplar¨ : que tiene una apariencia preciosa; su fino tallo y su sombra tipo paraguas hacen que luzca realmente bien.
The search for mushrooms in the reserve gets better every week; this week we came across three exceptional species. One of them is this delicate "specimen": which has a beautiful appearance; its slender stem and umbrella-like shade make it look truly lovely.

Otro excepcional hallazgo ha sido esta ¨especie¨ : muy peculiar. Que se desarrolla a partir de sedimentos de estiércoles de animales, o bien sobre ellos. En este caso lo hemos encontrado entre las hierbas, lo que nos hace suponer que creció a partir de sedimentos. Hay que tener mucho cuidado al manipularlos; son de esas especies consideradas tóxicas.
Another exceptional discovery has been this very peculiar ¨species¨ : . It grows from or on animal dung sediment. In this case, we found it among the grasses, leading us to believe it grew from sediment. Extreme caution must be exercised when handling it; it is one of the species considered toxic.

Como si fuera poco, dimos con un ¨genero¨ : que más que un hongo es una verdadera "obra" de "arte"; su cuerpo principal, estilo "repisa", está bellamente decorado con finas y sutiles pinceladas de variados colores; es como si un pintor mezclara colores y diera varias pinceladas. Es por cosas como estas que siempre manifiesto que la naturaleza es el mejor artista.
As if that weren't enough, we came across a "genus" : that is more than just a mushroom; it's a true "work" of "art"; Its main body, shelf-like in style, is beautifully decorated with fine, subtle brushstrokes of various colors; it's as if a painter mixed colors and applied several brushstrokes. It's because of things like this that I always say nature is the best artist.

Cuanto más pasa el tiempo, más conforme estoy con el rendimiento de mi ¨camara¨ : este dispositivo hace tomas hermosas de hongos. Poco a poco le estamos encontrando la vuelta al predio; a medida que pasa el tiempo, estamos reconociendo más lugares del predio donde los hongos se desarrollan.
The more time passes, the more pleased I am with the performance of my camera. This device takes beautiful shots of mushrooms. Little by little, we're getting the hang of it; As time goes on, we are identifying more areas of the property where fungi are growing.
