Hace algunas semanas tuvimos las visitas de mis seres queridos que viven en el sur del país, y como hacía mucho tiempo que no nos veíamos, nos pareció una idea genial invitarlos a la costa. Mi ciudad tiene playas hermosas que han sido diseñadas para visitarla en familia, sobre todo en esta época del año, donde no hay tanta concurrencia de personas.
A few weeks ago, my loved ones who live in the south of the country visited us, and since we hadn't seen each other in a long time, we thought it would be a great idea to invite them to the coast. My city has beautiful beaches that have been designed for family visits, especially at this time of year when there aren't as many people.

En cuanto al clima, la ciudad donde vivo es bastante particular, ya que tenemos algunos días distribuidos a lo largo del año que están fuera de estación. Una de esas condiciones es una situación que sucede todos los años en pleno invierno; a esto se le llama "veranillo" de "San Juan".
As for the weather, the city where I live is quite unique, since we have some days throughout the year that are out of season. One of these conditions is a situation that happens every year in the middle of winter; this is called the "Indian summer" of "Saint John's Day."

This is a climatic period that lasts between seven and fifteen days, and it's really noticeable because it happens in the middle of winter during these days that are very hot, typical of summer days. When my relatives have visited us, we were going through this climatic situation, and since the days were hot, we took advantage of it to spend time as a family at the beach.

Las tomas que hemos hecho en estos días me parecieron geniales para participar con ellas en el ¨concurso¨: Esta ha sido una hermosa vacación de invierno, nos tocaron días preciosos y, entre esos, días que permitieron visitar la costa de la ciudad.
The photos we've taken these past few days seemed perfect for participating in the ¨contest¨: This has been a beautiful winter vacation; we had some lovely days, including some that allowed us to visit the city's coast.
