Descent Into Obscurity
If your desire is to descend into my sphere,
then by all means come hither.
I won't dole out judgment for that which
the body and mind craves.
I am cognizant of the dark emerging
when least expected.
But beware, my brother and sister.
For I am unforgiving of that which bewitches me
into complacency.
For deep within my void,
the creature wrestles with the mind and soul.
Not for the faint hearted this venture is meant.
Longing for that which complements me,
no harm will befall you
for mine eyes have seen terror's shade.
Cold, spider-like fingers racing up then down my spine,
snipping the jagged edges of my consciousness.
They gnaw at the layers.
until the shallow self settles around my feet.
That the essence of my hull is revealed, I hold steady,
clutching the innards of my truest self
Too terrified to unveil me.
How dare you disturb the working of my dark!
I just want to be left in solitude.
But if you must, I welcome one who abandons the fright,
and embraces the night, where terror reigns.
No longer able to deny that
I am the epitome of the concept of soullessness.
A black, moody being that no one can dispel.
And behind those smokey eyes,
streaks of evil flash choking me with a chiseled embrace.
Yet I survive.
Now, come hither.
Allow me to imbue the depth of my dark knowledge
that dwells within my soul.
My hope is that you will comprehend and go forth with
your creative prowess unleashed.

It's been a while since I attempted a short poem. So, for my current mixed media project, I searched my designs and found the above that I decided would perform perfectly to animation and draw out the words I put into a poem.
But first the design. Several months ago, I retrieved a few sets of stable diffusion images from StarryAI, the stable diffusion program. The concept was Klein Glass Theory. The two images I chose for my current design I saved to use at a more appropriate time.
I wanted a simple, clean design with no cluttered background. Just eyes that haunt you. In fact, I retrieved two different sets of images, and combined elements from both. The finished design resembles a female who's immersed in her thoughts; hence, the elements rising from the water to overtake her.
Below are my steps in which I blended the two diffusion images in Canva, then added the black background. A relatively simple procedure is utilized by duplicating the Klein bottle on both sides to add depth to the background. The key was to space the duplicated parts so that they didn't touch, but created a void between each section resembling a set of bars.
For me, the face behind the bars represents imprisonment of my thoughts and creativity. It also could mean capturing the darkness and holding it at bay.
To create the animation, I utilized Canva's video tool.

Text input:
"Klein Bottle Phenomenon in Dystopia. It's damaged and blasted apart.."
Style: Science Fiction
Result:

Text Input:
"Photo of a pair of fantasy eyes. Eyes only. NO FACE shown.."
Style: Vivid Creeps

I share with you my completed design:

I must say that the poem is perfect; even when translated into Spanish, it has a very good rhyme, and the sombre meaning, relating to fear, to losing it all and plunging into darkness, is marvellous. What’s more, you’ve paired it with this design, where the animation stares intently at a range of emotions and deep feelings. It appears to be a simple design, but its details speak volumes. Against the dark background, the shapes are clean, clear and striking.
As always, excellent work; I always love how your creativity is so sombre. Thank you very much and a big hug!💗

Thank you so much!🤗
Yes, I wanted the background to be dark so that the images in the foreground could stand boldly with the eyes looking straight at you as if daring you to enter its world. I appreciate your kind compliment for my poem and design. Take care and have a nice weekend.
Thanks to you, it’s been a brilliant job! Have a great weekend!
It's said that the eyes are a window to the soul. Your artwork displays enigmatic eyes that are inviting just as this reflective poem calls to the reader. A sort of invitation to look beyond the surface. I think it speaks about every relationship - we are attracted to others but must delve deeper, confront the pleasant and dark parts, the desires and nature to truly know them. Beautifully written! 🌹

Indeed, the eyes tell the story. I'm pleased you found my reflective poem interesting. An invitation to explore my mindset when creating dark projects. I don't understand it sometimes, but just go with it whenever the mood arrives. I do feel as though something comes over me and transports me to another place where I can look outside from within.
Thanks so much for your visit. I appreciate your kind compliment. Take care and have a good start to your weekend.
