Just in general, wonder why not more people encourage their peers to write in Hive. I know is a great thing once you are in, but from outside it seems tedious. I think that once you find a topic you are passionate about, it sells you how to be a great Hivean. As always I think the main thing is that it help preserve my thoughts, from my personal blog in perpetuity and for that I think it has it's own merit. But also finding a community that likes a common theme is a plus to the overall experience of what it is to be a Hivean.

Completely agree. It definitely feels overwhelming to outsiders initially but once you find your passion and your community, everything clicks. Having your personal thoughts preserved forever is a massive bonus.
I hope the Hive Marketing team learn this and design strategies to communicate it effectively.
