At the start of the year, I made sure I set goals that were achievable and not the type that would take away 95% of my life while chasing them. But this does not mean the goals were easy-peasy and could be achieved within 24 hours, no. They were tough and challenging too, but very much achievable.
Having said the simple nature of the goals, did I achieve them?
Where do I start from? 🤔🤔
Hive Goals:
At the beginning of the year, I set a goal to reach 7,000 Hive Power and, looking at what I currently have, I am still 1,400 HP away from it. But technically, I have already hit 7,000.
How???
I was the one who set the goals, mapped out how to hit them, whether directly or indirectly, and I think I hit them indirectly, even though it is not showing visibly. This is why I am not deeply bothered again, because I hit that goal quite well.
I have 1,000+ Hive in my liquid Hive wallet, which I set aside to easily match up in case I did not hit my target. Also, I had some liquid Hive sent and saved somewhere, which I had—and still have—plans for. If I were to add up both of them, I would surely be talking about 8,000+ Hive Power.
So why is it evidently appearing as if I did not hit my target?
This gives me some pokes in my head sometimes whenever I check my wallet, because my full intention was to achieve my 7,000 Hive Power purely from my earnings. Because of this, there is still a feeling of not being able to fully hit my target, and it has now become a carryover to next year already.
If I were to go strictly by earnings, there is no way I will be able to match up and accumulate up to 1,400 HP in the few days remaining in this year. Yes, with a miracle, it can happen, but my faith cannot carry that right now because earnings on my posts have not been encouraging at all.
Relationship/Marriage Goals:
Mehn, I had plans to at least be in a very strong and serious relationship this year, but as it stands now, I am carrying over that goal to next year.
I would have hoped for a miracle to happen in the remaining part of the year, but hey, as a guy, going into a relationship during the festive season is a trap. It is a trap of heavy spending on the lady and also the trap of marrying a camouflaged lady.
What do I mean by a camouflaged lady?
It is advised that a man should not search for a wife during the festive season because two major things are involved. First, the lady will be glittering and looking extremely beautiful due to all the glitz of the festive season, which, after the celebrations, her real look becomes exposed. Secondly, ladies will be readily available, adopting and adapting to all kinds of positive characteristics that were never part of them, just to win the heart of the man and enjoy the goodies that follow. But once the festive season is over, they fall back to their “factory settings.”
I do not have the strength to play all these games during this festive season, which is why I am suspending this goal till next year.
