Hola a todos! Les deseo estén teniendo un lindo día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una manualidad que hice para mi boda. Estoy muy feliz porque pronto me casaré con mi prometido. Recientemente estábamos puntualizando detalles de la ceremonia y nos dimos cuenta que nos faltaba algún detalle para tener con los invitados al finalizar la boda.
Por ese motivo confeccioné un frasco de consejos para los novios. Es una linda idea, porque siempre los invitados van a querer compartir algún consejo, frase de felicitación pero por lo limitado del tiempo y que son muchos invitados es posible que no todos alcancen a hablar con nosotros o decirnos exactamente todo lo que quisieran. Además, todas esas palabras llenas de cariño quedarán plasmadas como recuerdos que atesoraremos de un día tan especial.

The first thing I did was wash the glass jar very well and soak it before removing the label. Step 2

I used a pack of 100 Sticky Notes to make 200 paper hearts. Guests will write their advice and loving messages for my partner and me on these.

Step 3
I used red and white checkered fabric for the jar lid and to make the small bag that will hold the paper hearts. To make the fabric lid, I cut out a circle and secured it with a rubber band. In the center of the circle, I made a slit and sewed the edges to prevent fraying. Guests can insert their messages into the jar through this slit.

Step 4
To make the little bag that will hold the paper hearts, I cut a piece of fabric measuring 20 x 8 cm. I sewed a decorative red heart onto it. I wanted the bag to close by pulling some ribbons I attached. To achieve this, I made two hems at the ends of the fabric, making sure they were slightly wider than the ribbon. Then I sewed the bag inside out on both sides, leaving the hemmed edges where the ribbons would be inserted closed. To create the friction effect between the ribbons, which is what makes the bag close, I cut two ribbons four times wider than the bag. First, I threaded one end through one hole and the other end through the other hole on the same side of the bag. Then I did the same with the other ribbon on the opposite side. I tied the ends of the ribbons together and had to apply a little heat to the ends to give them a better finish.

Para hacer la bolsita que tendrá dentro los corazones de papel, recorté un pedazo de tela de 20 x 8 cm. Le cosí un corazón rojo de adorno. Quería que la bolsita se pudiera cerrar al tirar de unas cintas que le coloqué. Para lograr este efecto hice dos dobladillos en los extremos de la tela, asegurándome que fuesen un poco más anchos que el grosor de mi cinta. Luego cosí por ambos lados la bolsita virada al revés, sin llegar a cerrar la parte de los dobladillos por donde voy a introducir las cintas.
Para lograr el efecto de fricción entre las cintas, que es lo que hace que la bolsita se cierre, corté dos cintas cuatro veces más anchas que mi bolsita
Primero metí una por un orificio y la otra punta la metí por el otro orificio de ese mismo lado de la bolsita. Luego hice lo mismo con la otra cinta pero del otro lado. Amarré las puntas de las cintas y tuve que darle un poco de calor a las puntas para darle mejor terminación.

I placed these signs I made; one goes on the jar and I tied it with a pink ribbon. The other goes on those table where the jar will be, as a sign for the guests, next to the little bag with the paper hearts. We'll have several pens available that day so the guests can write on them.
