Hola, mi gente bonita de esta linda comunidad, una vez más por acá para mostrarles este bonito proyecto que estuve realizando para mi princesa Ámbar. Primero quiero desearles que tengan una semana maravillosa, productiva y que puedan hacer muchas cosas lindas que luego puedan compartir con nosotros.
El proyecto se trata de un bonito pantalón con pretina lisa en la parte de adelante y en la parte de atrás elastizada; además, tenía una pequeña tira para amarrar con un lazo. Por acá les estaremos mostrando medianamente cómo lo estuve realizando.
Ya saben que para ser mis costuras me gusta hacer mis propios patrones; para eso he estado viendo algunas clases en línea para cada día hacerlo de la mejor manera y por acá les muestro algunas fotografías de cómo estuve realizando este patrón, que luego estuve marcando en la tela para finalmente cortarla y seguir con la costura.
Les cuento que esta tela me gustó mucho y la había comprado el año antepasado y este pantalón lo realicé en noviembre del año pasado; o sea, tenía más de un año con la tela; también le había hecho una camisa que ya se las había mostrado por acá. La tela es muy cómoda para coser, no recuerdo el nombre, pero es la que utilizan para hacer los uniformes de enfermeras que son con bastantes estampados bonitos; pues de todos los estampados, este fue el que más me gustó para niña porque es de Barbie.
Bueno, una vez que ya tenía todas las piezas cortadas, lo primero que hice fue coser el tiro trasero, para luego pegarle la elástica que, de verdad, ha quedado preciosa. Luego seguí con la parte delantera antes de coser el tiro porque tenía que colocarle el cierre; primero cosí los bolsillos y luego las pinzas.
Para finalmente coser el cierre y me quedó genial, tal cual había visto que se tenía que hacer; de verdad que quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado, ya que es algo que es un poco complicado o que lleva una serie de pasos para que quede como tiene que ser.
Ahora le tocaba el turno de hacer la pretina, y esta parte se corta en tela una vez que ya había tenido listo todo lo demás, o sea, pegado el cierre, cosido las pinzas, los bolsillos, para saber exactamente el tamaño de la pretina que iba superpuesta en la parte delantera. Le coloqué entretela para que quedara más firme y también hice las tiras por donde va la correa o, en este caso, unas tiras más anchas que también estuve realizando para hacerle un acabado de lazo.
Luego estuve planchando todas las piezas para coser los costados del pantalón y seguidamente las entrepiernas. Iba planchando de tanto en tanto, para que me fueran quedando bastante lisas todas las costuras.
Por aquí ya pueden ver cómo iba quedando muy lindo. Por ahí pueden ver una foto de cuando se lo puse con la camisa que le hace conjunto y cuando le medí el pantalón, le quedaba al ras del piso. Ah, también le cosí el botón que había mandado a forrar y el ojal a mano.
Yo pensaba que le podía poner este conjunto para diciembre, pero la camisa yo se la había hecho con un nudo en la parte de adelante y el pantalón también venía con un lazo y, al ponérselo, no me gustó mucho, así que le tengo que hacer una pequeña modificación a la camisa.
Entonces en diciembre se puso la camisa con un jean y el pantalón se lo estrenó en estos días de enero, que es donde le pude tomar algunas fotos, que fuimos a pasear un rato por el Monumento y miren qué lindo le quedó.
Ya mi niña está más grande, porque ya no le quedaba al ras con el suelo. Este patrón me encantó porque el pantalón quedó con una caída perfecta; las fotos no le hacen justicia, de verdad que le quedó muy bien. Para hacer primeriza con esto de los pantalones, de verdad que puse mi mayor esfuerzo para que todas las costuras quedaran de la mejor manera y mi hija se veía radiante.
Aunque a ella no le gusta mucho eso de estar amarrándole el lazo en la parte de adelante, lo tomaré en cuenta para próximos proyectos que sean para ella.

Custom-made trousers for my princess Amber
Hello, my lovely people in this beautiful community, I'm back again to show you this lovely project I've been working on for my princess Amber. First, I want to wish you all a wonderful, productive week and hope you get to do lots of lovely things that you can then share with us.
The project is a pair of lovely trousers with a smooth waistband at the front and elasticated at the back; they also have a small strip to tie with a bow. Here we will show you how I made them.
You know that when it comes to sewing, I like to make my own patterns. To do this, I've been watching some online classes so that I can do it better every day. Here are some photos of how I made this pattern, which I then marked on the fabric before finally cutting it and continuing with the sewing.
I really liked this fabric and bought it the year before last. I made these trousers in November last year, so I had had the fabric for over a year. I had also made a shirt with it, which I had already shown you here. The fabric is very comfortable to sew with. I don't remember the name, but it's the kind used to make nurses' uniforms, which have lots of pretty patterns. Of all the patterns, this was the one I liked best for girls because it's Barbie.
Once I had all the pieces cut out, the first thing I did was sew the back yoke, and then I attached the elastic, which turned out really beautifully. Then I continued with the front before sewing the yoke because I had to attach the zip. First, I sewed the pockets and then the darts.
Finally, I sewed the zip and it turned out great, just as I had seen it had to be done. I was really pleased with the result, as it's something that's a bit complicated and involves a series of steps to get it right.
Now it was time to make the waistband, and this part is cut from fabric once everything else is ready, i.e. the zip is attached, the darts and pockets are sewn, so that I know exactly the size of the waistband that goes over the front. I added interfacing to make it sturdier and also made the strips for the belt, or in this case, some wider strips that I also made to finish off the bow.
Then I ironed all the pieces to sew the sides of the trousers and then the crotch. I ironed from time to time so that all the seams were nice and smooth.
Here you can see how nice it was turning out. Here's a photo of when I put it on him with the matching shirt, and when I measured the trousers, they were just the right length. Oh, I also sewed on the button I had sent to be covered and the buttonhole by hand.
I thought I could put this outfit on him for December, but I had made the shirt with a knot in the front and the trousers also came with a bow, and when I put it on him, I didn't like it very much, so I had to make a small alteration to the shirt.
So in December she wore the shirt with jeans, and she wore the trousers for the first time in January, which is when I was able to take some photos of her. We went for a walk around the Monument and look how cute she looked.
My little girl is growing up, because the trousers no longer reached the floor. I loved this pattern because the trousers had a perfect drape; the photos don't do them justice, they really looked great on her. As this was my first time making trousers, I really put my best effort into making sure all the seams were perfect and my daughter looked radiant.
Although she doesn't really like having the bow tied at the front, I'll take that into account for future projects for her.
