Free dental care for children and teenagers

Hello, my lovely people at @motherhood, it's a pleasure to visit you today, as I'm here to tell you about the opportunity I took advantage of for the well-being and oral health of my princesses Arianna and Ámbar.
First, I'll tell you that several people had told me that the Simón Children's Foundation in my city provided free dental services for children and teenagers. This service is quite expensive in the private sector, and we have been paying for it for some time.
The problem is that Ámbar was the one who didn't want to go, even though she was the one who needed it most. So I decided to try this foundation.
I went to make an appointment and they gave me one for two days later, but when we arrived, it was too late. Then they gave me one for a week later, but the dentist didn't show up, so I made a new appointment and they gave me one for two weeks later.

When they finally saw us, the place was really nice, clean, pretty, and pleasant. There are several offices for different specialities, including educational psychology and paediatrics, in addition to dentistry. They also have a dining room and a playground for children.
My princesses were third and fourth in line; we all went in together and they saw Arianna first. She was calm, and luckily the repair of a tooth with a broken filling was quick. It was a tooth that I had already paid £25 to have fixed, and it didn't even last a year.
Amber watched everything; she was even distracted by a tooth fairy dressed as Santa Claus, asking if that was the one who brought gifts for lost teeth, hehehe.
When it was her turn, she sat down in the chair, relaxed and not nervous. I prayed to God that it would be that way. I had already told her to take advantage of the opportunity, which was free, because otherwise we would have to go to a private dentist.

The dentist first told her how to brush properly and examined her to see what needed to be done. She had a loose canine tooth and a molar, so they gave her anaesthesia, first in cream form and then two injections. She bravely endured it; I didn't even want to watch so she wouldn't get nervous or upset.
They removed the two teeth without a tear or complaint, but I was very relieved and grateful to God, whom I had prayed to so much for this to happen.
The doctor told her to buy her some jelly or ice cream in an hour, so we did. On the way out, we went to the supermarket and bought two ice creams. She said to me, "I really like this dentist because she said they would buy me ice cream, hehehe.
We went home and Arianna got changed to go to school and Amber was going to stay at home with her dad so I could go to work, but she didn't want to; I didn't have the heart to leave her, so we stayed together.

She was excited because the Tooth Fairy was going to bring her a gift for her tooth. If only you could have seen how happy she was when she woke up and saw her gift. These are lovely traditions that ease the trauma of losing their teeth a little, and they've really worked for me. Although sometimes it's a struggle to get them to brush their teeth at night.
Well, friends, it was a really good experience; I'll be taking them back for another check-up soon; I hope everything goes well. It's our duty to take care of their oral health, even if it's sometimes a constant struggle.
