My Splinterlands End-of-Season Activity: Playing and Renting
In Splinterlands Ranked Play, time is marked by seasons that last approximately 15 days.
There are less than two days left until the end of the penultimate season of 2025. To be precise, at the time of writing, there is 1 day and 19 hours left.
In this post, I share my end-of-season activities, which generally include:
- checking and managing my incoming and outgoing rentals
- trying to play as many battles as possible to achieve my seasonal goals
Managing incoming and outgoing rentals is an important part of my Modern Format gameplay.
In fact, in the Modern Format, I can use 396 cards = 11,983 BCX, including 35 maximum-level cards, but I only have one maximum-level summoner of my own: Akane.
I have several top-level summoners that I can use in Wild Format, while in Modern Format I need to rent top-level or at least high-level summoners in order to have a good win rate and play in Gold/Diamond leagues.
For this reason, the last days of each season are important to me because I can choose whether or not to renew the rental of the summoners I used during the current season for the following season.
In the current season, I rented 4 summoners:
- Avina of the Wolf (Max level) - cost: 44.56 DEC/day
- Nomos (Max level) - cost: 39.90 DEC/day
- Gorgug the Endless (level 6) - cost: 25.00 DEC/day
- Chuul Jujinchi (level 8) - cost: 74.85 DEC/day
Unfortunately, today I was unable to renew the rental of Avina of the Wolf because the owner of this card has decided to discontinue the rental next season.
I renewed my rental of Avina of the Wolf for several consecutive seasons because $44.56 per day has always been a very good price compared to the rental prices of other top-tier summoner cards.
Before renewing the rental of the other summoner cards I am using in the Modern Format, I looked at the rental market.
The prices of top-tier summoners usable in the Modern Format start at 59.9 DEC per day for Underboss Fabino and go up to 692.85 DEC per day for the top-tier Lorkus.
Today, December 13, 2025, the prices of top-level summoners usable in the Modern Format range from 59.9 DEC per day for Underboss Fabino to 692.85 DEC per day for the top-level Lorkus.
I consider 59.9 DEC per day to be a good rental price for a maximum level summoner that can be used in the Modern Format, which is why I rented Underboss Fabino for 18 days, spending a total of 1078.2 DEC.
I also chose not to renew the rental of Chuul Jujinchi, level 8, for which I am paying 74.85 DEC per day.
Instead, I rented Prunda Undervesch level 8, which has a much lower cost: 30 DEC/day.
I will use level 8 Prunda Undervesch for 18 days and have spent a total of 540 DEC.
I also renewed the rental of Nomos (maximum level) and Gorgug the Endless (level 6) for the next season.
In this season finale, I will be able to use:
- 4 maximum level summoners
In the next season, the summoners I will use most will be:
- Akane
- Underboss Fabino
- Nomos
- Gorgug the Endless
- Prunda Undervesch
With the two new rentals I activated today, my balance between Rent in and Rent out has become negative, but it will return to positive in the next season.
Regarding my gaming activity, the seasonal goals I set at the beginning of the season were:
- to reach Diamond III league in Modern Format
- to improve my gaming results (rating and win rate) in Frontier Format
In Frontier Format, I am ranked 367 in the Gold leaderboard
I have improved my rank in the Gold Leaderboard compared to the previous season, but I have not yet improved my rating score and win rate.
I still have some battles to play and I will try to achieve this goal.
In Modern Format, I achieved a rating score of 2800
Thanks to this rating, I entered the Diamond III league!
Even though I'm in Diamond III, I haven't reached my goal for the season yet, because my goal wasn't just to enter Diamond III, but to finish the season in at least this league.
I still have some battles to play, and I'll try to improve my result before the end of the season!
I also need to accumulate some DEC in my in-game wallet because I only have 2.38K DEC left and I would like to have more DEC to buy some cards that can be used in the Modern Format.
In the last 10 days, I've spent more than 40K DEC to upgrade:
- Zyrx the Emberglace: level 1 -> level 2
- Anyu Huntswoman: level 6 -> level 8
- Bren Palesworn: level 1 -> level 2

Improving my results in the Modern Format involves my rental business and upgrading cards, and both require DEC tokens.
To conclude this post, I'll show you the first battle in which I used the summoner I rented today: Underboss Fabino at maximum level.
In the pre-stage, I chose to give +2 attack points to Croire and Halfling Refugee
Considering the battle rules: Counterspell, Briar Patch, and Collateral Damage, I preferred to focus on cards with healing abilities (Heal, Triage, and Tank heal).
I won the battle in Round 9.

La mia attività di fine stagione: Giocare e Noleggiare Carte
Nel Ranked Play di Splinterlands il tempo è scandito dalle stagioni che hanno una durata di circa 15 giorni.
Mancano meno di due giorni alla fine della penultima stagione del 2025, per la precisione, nel momento in cui sto scrivendo questa frase manca 1 giorno e 19 ore.
In questo post condivido la mia attività di fine stagione nella quale generalmente:
- controllo e gestisco la mia attività di noleggio in entrata e in uscita
- cerco di giocare il maggior numero di battaglie per raggiungere i miei obiettivi stagionali
La gestione dei noleggi in entrata ed in uscita è una parte importante delle mia attività di gioco nel Modern Format.
Infatti nel Modern Format posso utilizzare 396 carte = 11983 BCX tra cui 35 carte di massimo livello ma ho solo un evocatore di massimo livello di mia proprietà: Akane.
Ho diversi evocatori di massimo livello che posso utilizzare nel Wild Format mentre nel Modern Format ho necessità di noleggiare degli evocatori di massimo livello o almeno di alto livello per poter avere un buon win rate e per giocare nelle leghe Gold/Diamond.
Per questo motivo gli ultimi giorni di ogni stagione sono importanti per me perchè posso scegliere se rinnovare il noleggio degli evocatori che ho utilizzato durante la stagione in corso anche per la stagione successiva oppure no.
Nella stagione in corso ho noleggiato 4 evocatori:
- Avina of the Wolf (Max level) - costo: 44.567 DEC/day
- Nomos (Max level) - costo: 39.900 DEC/day
- Gorgug the Endless (level 6) - costo: 25.000 DEC/day
- Chuul Jujinchi (level 8) - costo: 74.850 DEC/day
Purtroppo oggi non ho potuto rinnovare il noleggio di Avina of the Wolf perchè il proprietario di questa carta ha deciso di interrompere il noleggio nella prossima stagione.
Ho rinnovato il noleggio di Avina of the Wolf per diverse stagioni consecutive perchè 44.56 DEC al giorno è sempre stato un prezzo molto buono in confronto ai prezzi di noleggio delle altre carte evocatore di massimo livello.
Prima di rinnovare il noleggio delle altre carte evocatore che sto utilizzando nel Modern Format ho guardato il mercato del noleggio.
I prezzi degli evocatori di massimo livello utilizzabili nel Modern Format partono da 59.9 DEC al giorno per Underboss Fabino fino a 692.85 DEC al giorno per Lorkus di massimo livello.
Considero 59.9 DEC al giorno un buon prezzo di noleggio per un evocatore di massimo livello utilizzabile nel Modern Format e per questo motivo ho noleggiato Underboss Fabino per 18 giorni spendendo in totale 1078.2 DEC.
Ho anche scelto di non rinnovare il noleggio di Chuul Jujinchi di livello 8 per cui sto pagando 74.85 DEC al giorno.
Al suo posto ho noleggiato Prunda Undervesch di livello 8 che ha un costo molto più basso: 30 DEC/day.
Utilizzerò Prunda Undervesch di livello 8 per 18 giorni e ho speso in totale 540 DEC.
Ho anche rinnovato il noleggio di Nomos (livello massimo) e Gorgug the Endless (level 6) per la prossima stagione.
In questo finale di stagione potrò utilizzare:
- 4 evocatori di massimo livello
Nella prossima stagione gli evocatori che utilizzerà di più saranno:
- Akane
- Underboss Fabino
- Nomos
- Gorgug the Endless
- Prunda Undervesch
Con i due nuovi noleggi che ho attivato oggi, il mio bilancio tra Rent in e rent out è diventato negativo ma tornerà positivo nella prossima stagione.
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco, gli obiettivi stagionali che avevo fissato ad inizio stagione erano:
- arrivare nella lega Diamond III nel Modern Format
- migliorare i risultati di gioco (rating e win rate) nel Frontier Format
Nel Frontier Format sono al rank 367 nella Gold leaderboard
Ho migliorato il mio rank nella Gold Leaderboard rispetto alla stagione precedente ma non ho ancora migliorato il punteggio di rating e il win rate.
Ho ancora alcune battaglie da giocare e cercherò di raggiungere questo obiettivo.
Nel Modern Format ho raggiunto un punteggio di rating = 2800
Grazie a questo punteggio di rating sono entrato nella lega Diamond III!
Anche se sono nella lega Diamond III non ho ancora raggiunto il mio obiettivo stagionale perchè non dovevo solo entrare nella lega Diamond III ma concludere la stagione almeno in questa lega.
Ho ancora delle battaglie da giocare e proverò a migliorare questo mio risultato prima della fine della stagione!
Devo anche accumulare un pò di DEC nel mio in-game wallet perchè sono rimasto con solo 2.38K DEC e mi piacerebbe avere più DEC per acquistare alcune carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format.
Negli ultimi 10 giorni ho speso più di 40K DEC per fare gli upgrades di:
